Clean off that Sh!t, will ya?!?

Yeah, ok, it’s Monday and I have a potty mouth this morning. I’m cranky, I’ve been awake since 5:30 AM (thanks to my two little dogs who thought that would be real funny to wake up momma at that awful time of the morning)…

But although my mom would like to wash my mouth off with soap this morning, I won’t allow her to use anything but THE BEST handmade soaps evah!!!!! :)

I felt so miserable this morning, so I figured that only a shot of Dirty Sanchez’s Caffeine soap could actually put me in a good mood and clean off dis mornin’s potty mouth. And, it worked!!!! :)

I make some of my own soaps (just basic melt & pour stuff, using a really good quality base and some nice scents that we enjoy), but from time to time, I also like to indulge in some fabulous handmade soaps that I buy on Etsy.

Dirty Sanchez is one of these “soap pushers” that I love, and so I wanted to mention her very cool soaps and her supper witty smart soap descriptions. Hilarious. I can guarantee that if you feel crappy, just go read her item descriptions and it will put a smile on your face, or put your mind in the gutter. Either way, you’re going to enjoy it, I’m sure ;)

I recently ordered a few different bars, since my birthday is coming up and well, I want to smell damn good for it! I also treated myself to one of her fabulous “Salty” bars (don’t these look fab?!? I LOVE my Salty bar!):

Now, I cannot talk about handmade soap and not talk about another great soap maker (and another favorite soap pusher of mine!), this one is in Canada:

Now, this here is a special case, because not only does Bovine Bubbles provide me and my family with some of the most fabulously scented handmade soaps, she also sells the best ever homemade jams!!! So we not only smell good, we also fill our tummies with the most delicious jams ever – is this heaven or what????

This is one of our favorite soaps. It smells like Marzipan – my husband keeps wanting to eat it, and he goes in a humming meditative trans every time he uses it in the shower. It’s really luxurious and smooth… we loooooove it to the max:

As for the jams… who could resist these… Our all time favorite is the classic raspberry jam that she sells, but there’s so many awesome jams and jellies in her shop, I dare ya to be able to resist this beauty here:

I also really enjoy using some of Carvel’s Whipped Body Butter. It makes my skin feel so silky smooth and not greasy at all. This one here sounds so dreamy, with Mango, Coconut and Pineapple all rolled up into one:
