I’ve been a very very busy girl these past few weeks. So many things to do, so little time.
Here’s a preview of some of my New Work that will soon be listed in my NG Originals Artfire Studio and NG Originals Etsy Shop:
Two of the 4 featured pendants here are hand-carved from scratch by yours truly. The Runes pendants (at each end of the picture above) are the ones that I carved myself. These are thick slabs of fine silver (.999 pure) and not only are they really cool to touch, but they have a nice weight to them that makes for a quality design that will last a lifetime.
Today’s Accessories Magazine highlighted trend is “Wood” since natural materials and textures are hot, hot, hot and I think that my new pendants that I made last week out of PMC3 (Precious Metal Clay Fine Silver) and set on beautiful Hemp Cords with sterling silver clasps are a good representation of this latest fashion trend.
The rustic beauty of Precious Metal Clay, which is a recycled material (reclaimed fine silver particles), combined with natural hemp cords and adorned with a few handmade Greek Ceramic beads, make for the perfect Natural/Eco-friendly Art Jewelry design.
Some of my pendants’ designs are Unisex, so they are perfect for men and women alike. They come in various lengths (and an extender chain can be added of course).
MORE NEWS:
I also got quite busy last week with preparing some of my jewelry designs to go on a fantastic journey with a DIVINE photographer here in Northern Alberta. Her name is Suzanne Sagmeister, and if you want to have a peek at her mind-blowing work, you definitely need to visit Suzanne’ website (there’s tons to see on there, click on the left to “visit the website”, and you will also hear some beautiful music from one of my new favorite Albertan singer/song writer Kalsey Kulyk! I love “On My Way” and all her other songs…) and for up to the minute updates and latest shots, visit Suzanne’s Facebook page!!!
I’ve always wanted to have a professional photographer take shots of some of my designs and so very soon, I will be able to add some of those cool shots in my listings and in my portfolio. I’m so friggin’ excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m BEYOND in love with Suzanne’s work – there’s no words to describe how much I love her work - and we’re both located here in Alberta – Let the artists from Alberta ROCK the World!!!! :o)
Stay tuned!
