About me...

So you want to know a little more about me? Great! :-)

To make a long story short - I'm French Canadian and originally from Quebec City, the beautiful capital of the province of Québec. I now live with my family in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and we're really enjoying ourselves here.

I've been blessed with the chance to travel extensively throughout my life. I have very fond memories of our bi-annual vacations to Miami, FL when I was a little girl (that's how I learned to speak English at a very young age), and of spending time in so many pretty little towns all the way down the Eastern Coast of the US. I've also had the chance to spend several years in the beautiful Caribbean, and I've also enjoyed some great vacation time in LA, Las Vegas, London UK and Vienna as well... every place I have visited is so lovely, unique and so inspiring!

You see, from the beautiful Canadian Rocky Mountains nearby to the fabulous Caribbean, Atlantic and Pacific oceans, from tranquil secluded streams to lively oceans, from warm sunrays to glistening white snow, and all the wonderful animals that surround us here... from majestic soaring Eagles, gigantic owls, ducks, jackrabbits, coyotes, to playful little Prairie Dogs that drop by to say hello - nature inspires me so much!

All the beautiful gemstones from Mother Nature, sparkling Swarovski crystals and a rainbow of colors just open up a floodgate of ideas in my mind. I can't sit still - I'm so inspired... I have to create something! Whether it be a piece of jewelry, a greeting card, an oil painting or knitting a cozy sweater, I just have to do something to express myself.

I have been designing jewelry for a couple of years now (it will be two years in the late Fall of 2008). I'm a born perfectionist, which I think is a good quality to have as a Metalsmith. I really enjoy working in my studio, and the thought of making someone feel special and happy when they receive and wear one of my jewelry creations is just ice cream on the cake :-)
